Street Fighter vs. Tekken...IT'S REAL.

Just when you thought Marvel Vs Capcom 3 was enough, Namco and Capcom are coming together and doing 2 games.
Street Fighter X Tekken will be done in SFIV visual style with Street Fighter 2D gameplay.
Tekken X Street Fighter will be done in Tekken visual style with Tekken 3D gameplay.

I will be getting MvC3, so I'll probably pick up Tekken X Street Fighter.
I want a "DOA X Street Fighter vs VF X Tekken" game......
I know I'm mocking the whole thing, but it's so * and I'm pretty pumped. Dunno which ones I will buy, but finally fight games are coming back in a big way.
So EA, we have arcade fighters covered, stick with simulation.
Always ask yourselves "is this realistic?"|||I will buy both as well as MvC3|||

Anyways, I am not completely happy with this arrangement. I would think that Capcom is missing the perfect opp here to use the Street Fighter EX engine and characters (which was a 3D game to begin with), to compete against the Namco boys.
Some D-Dark Vs Yoshimitsu would be fun
*esplosive*|||LOL, listen to the geeks Jizzing their pants, but I got to admit the badassism is pretty intense.|||While I haven't purchased a fighting game like Tekken or Street Fighter in almost a decade (Tekken Tag in 2000 and Tekken 3 in 9, this is something I might have to look into. I was a big 2D fighting fan back in the 90s, especially when the arcades were still a big hit and you could play these kind of games there.|||

Arika owns the non-SF characters in EX (D. Dark, Skullomania, etc), and I believe they own the SFEX engine as well. That's why you never see the EX characters in any other Capcom vs. game.

Not really interested. I love SF and I love Tekken, but MvC3 interests me alot more.|||Eh on the cartoon graphics, I wanna see Tekken X Street Fighter!
