New features for next 'UFC' game unveiled
Developers will update moves for its Sway and Posture Systems to help with dodging standing strikes and deliver stronger attacks from varying positions.
Online, players will be able to form fight camps and leagues as well as train with human opponents to prepare for online matches for fights in Career Mode.
During Career Mode, the game will track each player's action and use data for in-fight commentary and opponent intelligence.
The trio of new game modes include a straightforward Title Mode, Title Defense Mode and Tournament Mode, where players can create 16-fighter or team tournaments.

After all I read so much negative stuff about people about that game (Dont ask me why, I love that game). That I think it could be a problem if they use too much of it.
After all these months I still dont know what their problem with FNR4 is, but bottom line is that they dont like it. Since that affects EA MMA in a way, I hope they atleast dont use the things people whine about in Fight Night.
I hope THQ starts putting out some info soon. I voted on info about the ground system on their website but this Sway system sounds really interesting also. We will have to see how it is going to work, but it should add some depth to the standup. I found that to be pretty linear and boring in 09. Also the bodypunch spamming, say what you want about it but it made the standup look really retarded.
Looking forward to their demo, but I dont expect THQ to put a demo out early so they can get some last min fixes in there like EA did for FNR4. Which could help the game in the long run though..|||

i agree, idk why ppl dislike fnr4, that game is great imo... i think its more ppl not liking the tpc and would rather have buttons, which i dont understand that either because it brings alot more realism to the game and makes it a challenge to put combos together, u actually feel a sense of reward when u put together a nice combo and rock/ko your opponent
also, they'll prolly release the demo a month before the game comes out since its so popular, they may cause an uproar if they dont lol... the machida/shogun fight is in the beginning of may, whoever is the co-main event for that event will likely be the ones in the demo since they did rua/liddell last year and it was the co-main event of the following event which was headlined by silva/leites
also, when u guys post things about ufc 10, please post it in the off-topic section being it has nothing to do with ea mma... thanks!!!|||

Before I start I want to say I love Fight Night round 4 and fight night games
I think fight night round 4 Failed for alot of reasons ill try and same some
1. They Promised a Realistic depiction of the sport and they game us a lame long Counter Window(Matrix Time)
Flashing Lights(when Countered), Real Punches have almost effect, Counters count way to much ... ON and ON and ON........ Perfectblock, Backstep,Side Step, NO Dash,
2. The engine was TOO NEW and needed to be reworked and reworked and reworked before being released (too many bugs and Exploits to be Exploited )
3.Lame people Playing the game Cheesers
I can go on and on .. Just a few things that i had...
4. About the Fight night round 4 engine ... Like i said above it was soooo new. I like
Fight Night round 4 Engine. I hope it has been reworked and alot of the stuff that EA Canada did wrong
EA Tiburon probably worked out alot of the bugs... It was a new engine soo ill go easy on it ...
I really really want to see how the New and Improved FN4++ engine is going to look and play...
Come may we will get to see THQ's NEW "Sway system "
That Online Training sound Freaking Sweet !!!!
|||Ah yeah u made some valid points. Counter window I really hate aswell. Also some people indeed do the same move all the time, its annoying but nothing I cant beat. I actually think thats the problem with FNR, certain things you could do constantly.
However in EA MMA if some dude tries the same punch I will just take him down and beat him up. I dont see that being a problem in EA MMA.
Well the rest of your points are valid also. Perfect Block it is indeed, I dont think punches slip through at all? Unless that blocking meter goes down that is. I dont like the funky lights when countering and stuff either, makes it look really cheap. I hope they dont do that with this game.
I hope the engine is not too new for EA MMA then. Kinda forgot that this was the first time they used it.
Oh well lets hope they listened to the trials and errors of FNR4 aswell.|||I think undisputed is gonna tank MMA in terms of sales, BUT I think MMA's gonna be 10 times the game. I've always said for a fighting game especially the physics engine is the absolute core and lets face it MMA's is gonna be better than ufc's. So yeah gameplay > sales. Let's just hope it sells enough for EA to keep investing cos I wanna see this thing grow and grow :)|||Going to lock most of the UFC topics up only because their is already another topic made by Yari dedicated to Undisputed 2010. Lets keep it all to one post. Thanks!
