I just watched the review of SvR 2010 on IGN, I don't watch wrestling anymore but there's some good things in there i think would be good for EA MMA. One thing the guy said was the blood, once he gets a cut and keep hitting him more in the head the blood will start going in his eye and dripping on his chest and even going on the other guys chest. And surprisingly it looks very very very real. And i forgot pretty much every thing else lol.|||Yeah just watched the video review and it made me realize how awful IGN video reviews are compared to Game Trailers video reviews. lol.
Back on topic, yeah there seems to be some good stuff. As I recall Undisputed had the blood effect too. Well the rubbing off part at least. It is small but i noticed blood spreading on Forrest Griffin. His arm and chest.
It is a great feature and with the Fight Nigh engine behind it I am sure we will be able to see blood spatter. Doesn't FR have physics for sweat and blood?|||yeah UFC had it but every time i made someone bleed it would just get on the mat a ton. But it would just stay in one place every time. Like i make Forrest bleed some blood ends up on his left arm or something, Then i make GSP bleed and the blood ends up on his left arm in the same place as Forrest. And it happened every time. You also only get like a set amount of blood on the chest and it's small if i remember correctly.|||Funny how something fake has more blood than the real thing.
And yeah blood in UFC Undisputed was so so, it was promising but it didnt turn out very well if you'd ask me.
I think they just didnt want the game to become a bloodfest at times, well sorry but that happens in MMA.
I really hope EA MMA wont do something like that.
And yeah FNR4 did do a good job on sweat/blood, but for MMA I guess they would have to adjust the blood a little bit.
:)||||||That reviewers bland tone through out that whole review makes me cringe. It's like really? I can do a better job then that. Thats why I usually go to Game Trailers for all my video reviews. They are really good at describing everything good and bad about a game.
