Toughest first fight

Who do you guys think had the hardest first fight of there career or the hardest first fight of an org.?
I think I would say Pualo Thiago first fight in UFC was against Koscheck.
or
Dan Henderson first fight in Pride was against Wanderlie Silva|||Brock vs Mir|||

Brock vs Mir

good call|||not a true answer to your question, b/c his very 1st was vs joey gilbert, but the thread reminded me of bj penn's early run in his career...opponents #2 - #7 were tough as hell for even 'the prodigy' to cut his teeth on...#12 - #15 even tougher IMO...in reality, all his opponents (even the ones not in bold - din, rodrigo, sherk, stevenson, florian, diego, edgar) have been very good, capable fighters in the upper half of mma. IMO, almost this entire list could have been bold.
NO cans here...
#2 - Din Thomas
#3 - Caol Uno
#4 - Jens Pulver
#5 - Paul Creighton
#6 - Matt Serra
#7 - Caol Uno
#8 - Takanori Gomi
#9 - Matt Hughes
#10 - Duane Ludwig
#11 - Rodrigo Gracie
#12 - Lyoto Machida
#13 - Renzo Gracie
#14 - GSP
#15 - Matt Hughes
#16 - Jens Pulver
#17 - Joe Stevenson
#18 - Sean Sherk
#19 - GSP
#20 - Kenny Florian
#21 - Diego Sanchez
#22 - Frankie Edgar
impressive list of opponents and why i have always had a ton of respect for BJ penn & why he will always be near the top of my P4P list until he completely falls off.|||Joe Warren.|||

Joe Warren.

good answer...
to go up against beebe than get kid in a GP for someone making their mma debut is crazy...
dude stepped up big time.|||Can-wise, Yuji Nagata. First fight Cro Cop, 2nd fight Fedor.
Legit fighter, Joe Warren or Sokoudjou for Pride.|||

Can-wise, Yuji Nagata. First fight Cro Cop, 2nd fight Fedor.
