Gameplay issues.

Ok. First i want to start by saying, i know im not good at this game. I have some issues with the gameplay that i want to address and get off my chest. Hopefully some one will back me up on these.
1) Ground game (GnP) is REDICULOUS! I have put the controller down and let my opp beat me soooo many times. And i only have a record of 83-92! I have lasted an ENTIRE 20min round on the bottom b4. It seems like if the person you are fighting has ANY sense they can sit on you ALL DAY and never lose. Just little hits here and there take down your stamina, and i actually have a vid on my phone right now of me waiting a full minute of game time for my stamina to START regenerating. the guy i used at the time has a stam rec of like 92-93. Also, you CAN"T beat a button masher on the ground unless you can steal a small smidgen of stamina and try for a submission.
In My opinion the way to fix this is SIMPLE - make the window for reversing/blocking passes shorter! especially for fighters who have the major-pass unlocked. it would make more sense that a fighter trained to make more aggressive and dominant passes would be able to do minors easily and quickly. Doesn't make sense that a guy can wail 20+ shots on you and then instantly be able to block a pass... its just not right!

2) Match Making is a little flawed to me. There are NO FILTERS for online.... I don't understand why someone like me, who at the time i think i had like 25 fights should fight someone with 3200+ FIGHTS!!! Some sort of skill match is sorely needed. Also, I BELIEVE, i know i'll get crap for this one, that there should be a filter for TSC vs Classic(HA) Controls. I don't see why we shouldn't be able to filter that out. I am sorry that i don't want to fight someone who has rediculously fast and unreal striking. If people want to use those controls they should be matched up against others like them, unless people are willing to fight TSC vs CC at the time. From what i've seen on the forums this filter would be highly prized and appreciated.
3) SMALL issue with striking, specifically the overhand hooks. MY issue is, if i am standing planted and doing some ducks and weaves, i usually come out with a left hook( not a "spammer" just my style, i like lead hooks (FNr3/4)) but when i do that after i get the OverHand it throws the overhand. That is not always a good thing. my striking CaF has 100 r&l hand power and he has a MEAN left hook, i have FKOd many people with it but i can only use it if i duck back first, any side to side gives me the overhand. I am sick of getting FKOd because the game decides to use the slower,easily readable overhand instead of a quick hook. I can understand and would prefer that the overhand only comes in during a dash. thats MY opinion.
the only other issue i have with striking is the lack of knees. I would like to see some standing knees and elbows for Muay Thai fighters.
4) Last issue is a small problem with the submissions. One of my biggest problems is the lack of a VERY BASIC submission from a VERY COMMON position. Guillltine from closed-guard bottom.... I have a few friends and family who train in MMA, one actually trains with Team Curran (Jeff/Pat Curran from WEC) and he is BJJ guy and he has won a good amount of his fights with that sub from that position. It seems to me that a guillatine would be a lot easier/faster to go for from that position rather than an armbar or triangle.
Thank you for anyone who reads this. I know its long and probably doesn't make much sense. I just had to get these thoughts out there because a lot of this has really been frustrating me with this game.
I love this game and will (if it happens) buy #2. But if what i keep hearing is true it won't. I just hope THQ or whoever else does the next game takes a page from EA with the TSC and the flow of the game.
