Borderlands, anyone interested in this game?

I for sure am!!! It looks amazing and it is 5 days away from release. One of the devs even ran a promotion that if you send him a picture of you pre-ordering the game then on release day he will team up with you and play for a while. He will even give you some unique loot. Pretty awesome if you ask me!

I like the FPS+RPG aspect, keeps it interesting for longer terms.
Funny that it comes out in 5 days and I never even heard a word of it. Apparently theres a arena where you can duel other people aswell. Sounds nice :)|||I think they just barely started airing commercials for it. It has supposedly well over 100,000 different weapons. Also the art style looks amazing. I might go out and buy this. Obviously they are not the only ones going with the cartoony style, but if they went with the normal graphics, this game would just be "another one". I am waiting for the reviews aswell, I cant find any information at all even though the game already leaked, and is 3 days away from its release. :)|||

The cell-shaded look definitely sets this game apart. If it had super nice high end graphics it would get compared to Fallout 3 way too much. I like this because it seems to be more of an offline MMORPG/FPS. Neocron was like this and I think it was called Planetside. Those MMOs werent too crazy popular but they were fun and unique.
Yeah that is kind of worrying me too. I hope they game doesn't bomb. It has a lot of potential and can really stand out and offer new things to the gaming industry.|||Later today IGN will put a review up.

|||Awewome, the Kotaku review was pretty well done. They only had a few things to complain about but they seem valid.

I picked it up and was about to head over to the register when I heard a song from DJ Hero playing. I went over to where the music was playing and they had a DJ Hero station.
An hour and some odd minutes later I am putting back Borderland and walking out the store. Gonna save up and buy DJ Hero instead. That game was really really fun to play.|||

Really? I had interests in that game aswell. But I didnt really know what to think of it. It seemed quite repetitive to me. The tracklist is nice though, But I kinda thought you would get tired of it rather quickly. Unfortunately they dont do demo pods here, so you are forced to blindbuy things here.
I also wonder how they will handle DLC for this game. Guitar Hero in general doesnt really have that great DLC to be honest, I doubt that it will be any different for this game.
