Thats so COOL!!! Yea UFC 2010 has been pushed back until september 10, 2010... HA so much for* UFC U2010 will hold me off untill EA MMA* * me in the *|||I think his account might have gotten hacked. This doesnt really make a lot of sense. THQ did promise a lot of things so they might push it back just to make good on their word but I doubt they would do it just to compete with EA MMA. They would have better sales coming out 4 months before EA MMA comes out.|||

A mental condition caused by social trauma or rejection when you are a child. In other words, shynes, but on a massive scale. Say I was speaking in public, I would lock up, blush, sweat, think negative thoughts, and break down. Small talk is sometimes a problem, as I think that people are judging me and critisicing me. It's basically a liar inside your head, conjuring up negative thoughts. Many everyday things are a massive problem to me, say getting my hair cut or even shopping. There is no cure, but is the third most diagnosed mental illnes in the us and uk behind depression and ADHD.|||

Since this stuff developed, I've shut myself in. Did you just start medication? If you were prescribed a Benzodiazepine(klonopin/clonazepam, valium/diazepam, xanax, lorazepam ect.) I would advise you look into the issues of these meds very deeply and even talk to your doc about alternative options.
I have been on a Benzo(klonopin) for 4 years now, and although taking something like this might help mask the symptoms, it will never rid you of them and you might find one day your just as much in bondage to the meds as you were the disorder... just another problem to add to the pile.

I have always found it difficult to go to another person and ask for help or if they want to go do something. Anytime I go out it is because a friend has asked me to go. Sometimes I think my friends think negatively about me, even though they don't. I don't have it as serious as you. However, I have never gone to another person who I don't know and started a conversation. All my friends have come up to me a started talking to me. Hell, even on psn all my friends have added me.

That is exactly right. Nonstop, I can attest to this. SA is strange, I have come to the realization its not completely real, it could start with a few bouts of minor anxiety attacks, but then could change into a self fullfilling prophecy.
When you described it as a liar in your head, thats exactly right and meds, although they might seem to be nothing short of a gift from god in the beginning, they can really ruin you in the end and are hard to get off of. When I was on SSRI's and wanted to get off(Zoloft) I had what people call zaps for about a week. I'd be walking and then it felt like my equlibrium would go haywire and for a moment everything would spin violently and then return to normal.
And as far as benzodiapines go, after being on them for an extended amount of time, it's hell getting off of them. People who have taken these meds for long periods of time have experienced withdrawel symptoms from anywhere as ittle as 30 days to as long as 2 years!
Andy Miller is right about the martial arts too. Before I started taking anything(meds) I was in boxing for around two months, I didn't have any problems at that time at all. If competative sports, combat sports in general, doesn't build confidence I don't know what will.
But there was something about getting in the ring, punching someone in the face and even more importantly, getting punched in the face that really set my mind at ease for the entire time I was doing it. And jobs do help to.
You say their isn't a cure, and while cure is a strong word, it can get better if you apply yourself in the right ways and even become non-existent if you stick with whatever is helping. Desensitization is the most overlooked, yet most useful of therapy's for SA. And the best thing about it is it can be whatever you want. But basically, it's identifying the fire you feel is going to burn you(whatever makes you uncomfortable) and walking though anyway, on a daily basis, even going out of your way to do so.
Or, if like Andy said you were planning on joing a gym, now might be the best time. Trust me if I had the means at this time I'd go back and do that. I don't think I can think of one med those damn doctors have put me on(and when I was young and less knowledgable on lots of meds, they really played guinea pig) that ever worked.
They are all just masks for the symptoms and the more the body gets used to them, the less they work and the more you have to take and this process can go on forever.

"Connection Failed: EA Servers Are Not Available"
I have been playing this game with no issues since the release until about a week ago. I went to play online and at the initial screen it gave me the above message in the subject. I repeatedly have tried over the course of the past week to gain access, but I haven't been able to with my gamertag Andrew110m.
So, I decided to run a little test and logged on to the same system, on the same Internet connection, with a friend's gamertag. I was able to easily access the servers with no issues.
Clearly this has something to do with my Gamertag. I've contacted customer service, but their answer was no help and EA MMA is even available to select as the product my issue is about. So I'm taking it here. I'd really like to keep enjoying your product, but it is awfully hard when your servers won't allow me to do so.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.|||EA! I need help! I've was Online all night long and all of the sudden, after a fight, it kicked me out to the Main Menu. Now, I'm unable to get Online in MMA! It states "The EA servers are not available at this time. Please try again later." Well, I've tried again and again to no avail. What the.....!? I need to be Online in less than 24 Hours for LB so we need to figure this out ASAP bud. I'm able to get Online from my brother's PSN ID and a friend's PSN ID, but not mine. It's just this game too. Not any other game of mine is causing problems. HELP!!!!!|||

Ditto. I had just beat a guy and, this may just be a coincidence, but i was about to reank up to 4 stripe brown belt. After beating this guy I had 999/1000 points that I needed to rank up. Then out of nowhere upon Loading, it loads me out tomain menu rather than Quick Fight Lobby. Ever since then i get "EA servers are currentyl available. Please try again later." or sumthin. It sux man. I have over 400 fights on that account and thats how everyone knows me. I have like 40 + friends. :) Now I'm a yellow belt with no cred. I've contacted EA Customer Support..nothing. Just some lil troubleshooting ideas. nothing works. It obviously has sumthin to do between our emails/PSN IDs and EA itself. I cant play ANY EA games anymore online with that PSN ID. Its weird man. I think like there was un update happening or sumthin idk. If you google it, a lot of people have had this problem with other EA Games. I LOVE EA!!! buuuut, I also LOVE my other PSN ID. :) Please help!!!|||That is odd. I can still play NHL 11 and Madden online. EA MMA is the only game I can't get on. I'm going to just keep making noise on the forums until I get answers.|||I take that back. It DOES work for other EA games BUT NOT EA MMA anymore! WTF!? I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them a few days ago and nothing. They upgrade me to their "tier 2 e-mail team" whatever the hell that means, but still nothing from them.

I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them a few days ago and nothing. They upgrade me to their "tier 2 e-mail team" whatever the hell that means, but still nothing from them.
It is starting to really * me off.|||Has this ever been resolved? I have this same problem but with FIFA 11, where I get the EA severs are not available on one account but are available on the other. At this moment EA phone support were no help and I am supposed to wait for tier 3 email support.

When I upload hilights they don't show up on my profile.
They only show up in the Fighter Video Cage.
I also uploaded a hype video, filling in the information but nothing shows up on my profile.
Not only that, but one of my custom fighters now has the name of the hype video I uploaded.
Very strange.
This isn't cool, there are so many other players out there who have videos working on their profile page.
I would like mine to show up and I'm sure many other people have this very same issue.

I just watched Aldo vs Faber and who would have thought the main event would be the most boring.
I mean for the entire week I've been seeing hype vids about how epic Aldo is and how he can finish everybody. But that was before he became champ. I hate that once these top contenders become champs they lose all their skill or something.. They will be this KO artist KO ppl out left and right, But once they the get the belt they just do enough to grid out a dec. They never take any risk it's rediculious!

Would you buy xbox just for EA MMA?
I don't have an xbox, but loking to buy it in order to play MMA. Do you think it's worth it? I have played undisputed 2010 with my friend. It had very good graphics, but way too robotic.. I am not a big gamer myself, the only other game ill play is GTA 4.Do you think it will be worth to buy xbox360 for that game?|||no, EA MMA may be good, but spending $3000400 on a game that you may or may not like is risky. . it doesnt seem like a big enough game for me, but hey if you played it alot.|||I bought a PS2 just to play San Andreas, it was definitely a great investment.

Analog sensitivity issues
Ive been having alot of trouble on the ground and in the clinch with the sensitivity of the transitions. Like ill get the other guys stamina down lower them mine off my backand try to stand the fight up and instead it will try to transition. Its been very irritating even when they have dominate position in clinch. Vice versa with the dominate position on top, it actually lost me a title shot because I had side mount on the guy and instead of transitioning it decided to standup. Its done this multiple times as well and has become quite a nuisance. Thank you.|||It sounds like you are putting a lot of pressure on the analog stick. Yeah the sensitivity is a bit weird for reading transitions sometimes, but I always figured that my opponent was just taking advantage of the animation windows to make sure that their commands went through before mine, I've just never had enough interest into learning the transition windows in any game just to get an edge. I guess it could also be a sensitivity issue though, while we're on the topic of issues, I wish they would do something about the bs strike cancellation that happens way too often in this game to be ignored.

I will probably end up seeing it since it is a summer movie. The movie is going to do as well as any Huge Blockbuster. As good as like GI Joe or Star Trek or some other big blockbuster from last summer. Plus it has big name actors in it so, it isn't just marketed to all the MMA fans.
It will probably be Number 1 the weekend it comes out. :)

wow i dont even have enough time for all these games!!! im a huge SKATE fan, prolly my fav series of all time, so im totally pumped for that... ive been wanting to get my hands on BackBreaker football since i seen the early trailors over a year ago, the only bad thing about it is that there wont be NFL teams in it, but the gameplay looks incredible so that wont be too much of a problem... and last im a total mma fanatic so ill have to buy Undisputed no matter what, i mean it cant be as bad as 09 was, right???|||Doesn't look to be that great...|||I will only get the UFC game that month. TBH the best month is March, for me anyway. FF13 and GoW3. Even though I might wait a little for both till they drop in price.|||

1. qb dropback all wrong if done like that in real life they would trip (not a big deal)
2. no refs ( its the future meybe they dont need them)
3. hits all looked big and that doesnt happen in real football
4.it highlights player on other team with the ball i thought with the first person camera you would have to read the play like in real life

Meh, ff13 is a shadow of previous final fantasy games. I will not be getting it. SKATE is a pretty decent series, i enjoyed both skate 1 and 2 so i will be getting that. Meh, ff13 is a shadow of previous final fantasy games. I will not be getting it. SKATE is a pretty decent series, i enjoyed both skate 1 and 2 so i will be getting that. I will probably wait for a price drop on undisputed, seeing as gow3 is out late march, and i already have heavy rain and bad company 2. Short of money this month. I suppose I can live off bread for a week or so.
I will only get the UFC game that month. TBH the best month is March, for me anyway. FF13 and GoW3. Even though I might wait a little for both till they drop in price.

It's about 2 am EST and the site is down due to the amount of traffic it's getting, and this is before the codes are even released.

K-1 and ADCC in EA Sports MMA 2011
I know that that the 2010 game has not been released yet, but it is too late to include this element on it. How about EA including in EA Sports MMA 2011 striking and grapling competitions like K-1 and ADCC? Mainly in career mode, during the interval between MMA fights, the fighter should be invited to participate Abu Dhabi Combat Club or K-1. It would also available in single fights (exhibition). That would be a differential over the game of concurrence, which would never include this element. What do you say?|||There wont be a EA mma 2011 there doing EA mma then next year fight night 5 then there going back to mma the year after if all gos well but nether of them are coming out yearly also i dont want K-1 and ADCC there not mma and its a mma game|||I would love to see K-1 and ADCC in EA MMA, but I don't think EA is going to spend their money to buy the license|||They would be licenses worth having if they have money to spare after Dream, Strikeforce, Bellator and Sengoku. i suppose, but it gets boring lol. thats why .|||Try to make sure you're doing a level 3 sub (your stamina won't drop as fast). Charging works a lot easier if you've got a lot more stamina than they do.

Anyone else's avatars not showing up?
I decided to change mine last night and now it's not showing up at all. Even tried manually resizing it to 150x150 before applying it, but it's still not coming up :) Is this the case for anyone else? (Andy Miller?) Can a mod look in to this please?|||Yeah you can see alot ppl dont have avatars or signatures so something is messed up in the site.|||I tried to change mine but the field for the image link was too short to accept the full url. IMO, almost this entire list could have been bold.

I'm having an issue with career mode loading indefinately after every fight I win. I have to sign out of my profile and back in and go the the start up menu after every fight :). Any thoughts?|||this has happened to me 3 times after wins by TKO it seems like the HTC phone dont show up and the camera pans around inside the elite mma gym,|||

Anybody else looking at this game|||I had the original a few years back, and it was awesome.|||Yeah the first mafia was the best sandbox game back in the days. Only thing that was bad was that they did not optimize the game so it had framerate issues and other stuttering. So i´m really looking to see how Mafia 2 looks, is the framerate smooth at all times. Anybody else looking at this game|||I had the original a few years back, and it was awesome.|||Yeah the first mafia was the best sandbox game back in the days. Only thing that was bad was that they did not optimize the game so it had framerate issues and other stuttering. So i´m really looking to see how Mafia 2 looks, is the framerate smooth at all times. And does the game offer alot to do outside missions.|||Can't for this game, looks like its gonna be fun as hell :)|||I can't wait!!!!

Sakuraba has his rights signed away to some other video game being made in Japan.
As far as anyone else not being it, it's been said by the devs it was due to things just not working out. Whether it's time constraints or contractual issues, unless all the puzzles pieces are in-place a fighter isn't in.

online freeze at lobby
Not my system but the lobby. I can dashboard from lobby but it just says connecting until I do. anyone else having this issue?
Lost CAF's over 20 times!!!
Come on, I just spent like 3 hours crafting a great looking Matt Hamill CAF, just to have the game freeze on me after I press save and exit, before I upload. Losing all my CAF's. Again. Luckily I have my favorites uploaded. But this has happened to me more than 20 times. Once it happened 3 times in one day. I love this game and play the living hell out of it. But im sick of gambling with the CAF. I start working on one and it really his a risk whether its gonna let me even back out without erasing everything! Im just gonna start posting here every time this happens to me. Join me? A quick "Again" will do.|||ive lost CAF's too, hours of work gone.. they should really fix this|||Again|||I lost all CAFs a total of three time an December first. 3 times in one day!|||Again.|||Is this PS3 or 360 version, please? I only ask because I have the 360 version and have taken at least nine CAFs all the way through Career mode, saving and reloading many times each one, and never had a problem. PS3 issue maybe?|||PS3. It doesnt happen in career mode. Its happenening in Create a fighter. When I back out of the creat a fighter, it freezes when the HDD icon is on screen and I have to reset the system. When I turn it back on, all my CAF's are deleted and I have to download them all again. first, whenever u edit/upload/download fighters, wait for the small ea mma save icon in the top right corner to disappear b4 u leave the fighter share screen or choose a new option, it wont freeze up that way... incase it does freeze up again, go to your ps3 menu bar, go to the game menu, scroll up to "saved data utility", click on that then find the icon that says "ea sports mma fighters", click on that and then copy it to another user name (if u dont have a username, make a new one it only takes a minute)... then if it freezes up again, just log onto the username u saved it too, and copy the saved fighters to your original username and they'll be back no problem... hope that all makes sense lol, its really easy... if u have any probs, hit me up on psn and ill help u out... psn id- rahliE

It usually happens after 10 minutes during the 2nd or 3rd round.|||

How about in the replay of the fight? Does the commentary fix itself there or is it silent as well. What system are you on?|||I can't remember which venues .. but I usually use Japanese, Vale Tudo, and Unified rules in Fight Now mode.

They tried to pin murder charges on the director for killing the actors. He had to prove that some special effects were indeed special effects and not actual murder scenes lol.

The old forums didn't use this system, and I'm glad they might be changing it here too. Its not the stars I minded mind you, it was 1 starring and then not having the brass as to give WHY you 1 starred someone.
And then there were those confusing circumstances where you didn't agree with someone, but didn't star them either way but you posted after them, and then someone comes along and 1 stars them and makes it look like YOU did it lol. I always liked PSN because it allowed me to play online for free, I wont pay for it now, and besides what they offer is not really that tempting.|||Never heard of it. I would only buy it if it came with really good features and wasn't that expensive. I can usually just talk to people over skype anyway.|||from what i hear it will have cross game chat and the ability to make a custom soundtrack for games, which that alone is worth the buy for me... exclusive early demo access, beta acess, and free psn games are all good additions aswell... the only thing that bothered me about it is that he kept saying "you'll keep these things for the duration of your subscription", so does that mean even if u renew your subscription you wont get to keep the games and stuff that u download???|||If you buy the Plus for 1 year ($50) and don't renew it you lose everything you had. So if you want to keep all those betas and demos and whatever else you have to keep the Plus for as long as you have your PS3.
I won't even bother with it. Not worth it imo.|||The fact that you loose everything you´ve paid for if you dont renew. Makes this extremely idiotic "service".

Now I haven't gone online in the PS3 in months so I don't know if they have feature in it but they better cause it cuts the online A-hole factor in half.

Oh yes...!
Spa, here we are|||dont watch it, i find it way too boring lol but good luck to whoever you are cheering for :)|||You don't watch the racing, or the qualifying?|||neither dont even know what the difference is|||lol, well qualifying is where you put in the fastest lap for your race-start position, very tactical... when to send out your driver to have a clear run at the circuit, when to shoot for a fast lap- knowing no one competing with you can put in a faster lap, weather, tires aha all under a time limit
Racing is racing- pedal to the metal, no prisoners. aha
Lewis and Jenson are doing ok so far, hopefully (like you would always want) we get one two :)

For me, the zero-slim chance of an overtake, seeing as they're set off at different times. Impressive driving, no doubt- but time trials aren't REALLY my thing.. (although as I said earlier- with Formula1, I like finding out who's on point for the race and where they're starting lol)
